Our Story

We are proud to be afamily-owned and operated Corporation. This honorwas provided when Timothy Z. Chinchor, began Tim Chinchor Electrical Contracting in 1986. In 1991, Chinchor Electric became incorporated and has since accumulated an impressive roster of satisfied customers. For over 30 years, we have been serving industrial and commercial customers, as well as government agencies throughout the State of Florida and we appreciate every opportunity to serve our community.

Chinchor Electric, Inc. has been active in communication & integration control infrastructure since the Company was incorporated in 1991. The beginning focuses of this type of work in the theme park industry from 1991 to 1999. Within this time frame, we installed, tested, and integrated multiple theme park rides at Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure.

This skillset lead our team into the Water & Wastewater Industry, which further enhanced our abilities with PLC integration, Power & Control Distribution Design, I/O logic, turnkey fiber optic, digital, and analogue installation and integration, for complete plant operations.

With a desire to expand the Company’s work opportunities, Chinchor Electric, Inc. expanded its operations into Roadway Infrastructure in 2003. The Company became Traffic Signal Prequalified with the FDOT during that year and has retained that status to present.

Since 2003, the company has acted both in the capacity of a Prime Contractor and as a Subcontractor, for Roadway projects which include Intelligent Traffic System (ITS) work. Today, we offer a variety of services;
