Timothy Z. Chinchor
is the President and Owner of Chinchor Electric Inc. Through the years he has
built his company from a small one man operation, in 1986, into a medium sized
corporation of over 75 employees. Chinchor Electric Inc. serves not only
greater Central Florida but also Southeastern United States and the Caribbean Islands. Chinchor
specializes in Industrial Wiring, Systems Automation. Along with this, the
company is responsible for Industrial and Commercial Electrical projects in
addition to a Traffic Division which handles Highway Lighting, Sign Structures and
Signalization. Mr. Chinchor has over 1700 continuing education hours tallied against his electrical license. In 1986
he received his Florida Master Electrician State Certification and he is
currently a board member of the Florida State Electrical Contractors Licensing Board.
Mr.
Chinchor’s experience began in 1980 with U.S Steel in Homestead, PA. A year later his experiences
lead him to a position with R.M Keller Electric in Versailles, PA. Upon moving
to Florida in 1984 he earned his Journeyman’s license. After obtaining his
license he went to work
for Tri City Electric Contractor Inc. By 1986, at the age of 25, Mr. Chinchor received his Master Electrician's License and
started his own Electrical Company. He was the sole proprietor of what
was previously known as Tim Chinchor Electrical Contracting. In 1991 he
incorporated in order to establish Chinchor Electric Inc. as a subchapter “C” Corporation.
Since then there
have been a significant number of projects, along with others listed under the 'Jobs & Contracts' tab, completed by Chinchor
Electric Inc.
Some of which are World Cup Soccer, Sysco Foods, a number of jobs at
Universal Studios Orlando &
Universals Islands of Adventure, along with many county jobs such as Volusia,
Seminole and Orange. In addition to this
Chinchor Electric is a D.O.T approved vendor for Signalization and Electrical System Maintenance and Upgrades. We were also
involved in the L3 Explosive Detection System Installations of Gainesville, Orlando/Sanford and Daytona
Beach Airports (the only Explosive/Threat Detection Systems completed on
schedule in the United States in December 2003)
